This week you will receive a status grade on your American Author thesis blog according to this rubric. This assignment is a key part of your third quarter grade; you should have six posts at this point. (Many of you are behind.)
On Tuesday/Wednesday (Lesson 60), we look at some examples of good thesis blogs, read more examples of book reviews in preparation for WA#7, acquaint ourselves with the concept of tight writing, and finish up presenting quick clips.
Be ready, on Thursday/Friday (Lesson 61), to make a short proposal to the class on how you are going to approach your Gatsby book review. You will need to turn in a short write-up of your proposal (a couple paragraphs) after you present.
