It is important to begin writing a research paper in order to get as much of your thoughts and research evidence out onto paper as you can, because you will find that many changes need to be made, including editing, organization, and your thesis statement. The basic requirements for this rough draft are the following:
5 pages double spaced word processed with pages numbered
Title centered and italicized, and your name block and this class in upper right hand corner
Paper clipped or stapled
Works Cited (Bibliography) attached and complete
MLA format citations
We will be looking for your thesis argument, your organization of evidence, and your format in terms of bibliography and citations.
