On Monday (Lesson 8), after a short quiz on the reading, we discuss the story “Scar” by Amy Tan and what it can teach us about our own approach to the Moving Voices Project. Your first draft of WA#2: Personal Statement is due and will be collected.
Lesson 9 (Tues./Wed.) is a writing workshop on your Personal Statement. Be prepared for both read-around and writing group activities.
On Thurs./Fri. (Lesson 10), we read a short story in class that provides a model for our approach to the Moving Voices Project.
