Week 7: October 9–12
Students have the day off on Monday the 8th, so it’s a four-day week of two lessons: Lesson 16 and 17.
Go to the library over the weekend and find three books or magazine articles for your IRP topic. Search for books online through your library’s web site:
What’s due Lesson 16 (Tues./Wed.):
- Read Song of Solomon to page 112 and do two thesis log entries.
- Finish your Annotated Bibliography (Benchmark 3 of Moving Voices). In addition to the typed bibliography, you should bring into class all three books or magazine articles that you cite in your bibliography.
What’s due Lesson 17 (Thurs./Fri.):
- Read Song of Solomon to page 151 and do two thesis log entries.
- Thurs.–Fri. 10/11–12: Tools check – You must bring to class
-at least 100, lined, 3×5 index cards
-a container for your notecards
-dividers for your notecards
