We put the American Author project to bed this week: the paper is due Monday for blocks C, D, and E and on Tuesday for blocks A and B.
In class, we turn our attention back to our reading of Death of a Salesman. Be prepared for class discussion on scenes from Act II. We will watch some film.
We also prepare for the final exam next week. You will have an in-class essay question that asks you to put forward a thesis on the American Dream that makes us of the literature that you have read this year.
You may choose any combination of the following texts on which to support your larger claim about the American Dream:
