Read Gatsby to page 145 for Thurs./Fri. Be prepared for a reading quiz.
Bring in an example of a book review from a journal, newspaper, or magazine

Don’t Forget

Continue your American Author reading. You should be on your second book, or heading into the second third of your reading.

On Tues./Wed. (Lesson 56), we continue presentations of Quick Clips. Gatsby discussion centers around the viewing of a clip from the film starring Robert Redford (1974).

On Thurs./Fri. (Lesson 57), we finish presentations of Quick Clips. Be prepared for a reading quiz on chapters 6 and 7 of Gatsby. The book review assignment that you will do at the end of Gatsby is introduced by looking at some published book review examples.
