Welcome back from break, and Happy New Year!
On Monday, January 5, we jump right back into the thick of things: reading Dante and finishing the Xlandia project. There are only two weeks of class before finals.
On Monday (Lesson 45), you take a reading test on the Inferno reading you did over break: Cantos 5 through 14 (to page 204). We discuss the geography of Hell as described in Canto 11.
For Government, you work in your task force groups to prepare for your presentation to the new government of Xandia. You are formally introduced to Writing Assignment #5: Xlandia White Paper ; the first draft is due Friday.
Xlandia group time and discussion of Dante reading continues through the week. On Wednesday, we review what will be on your upcoming final exam, the week of Jan. 20.
It is vital that you keep up with your thesis log, two for every reading assignment. By the end of the week, you should have 9 entries total.
