Benchmark #13: Exhibition

Your exhibition will be a standard “presentation” presentation.

You will use a Keynote to guide you in presenting an overview of your work and lesson and that shows your video.

Your presentation should present an overview of:

• The book your group read
• The learning point you pulled from the book to teach
• Your lesson plan
• Your experience teaching the lesson

And answer the following questions:

• What did we gain as scientific thinkers?
• How did we develop as teachers – what impact does that/might that have on our own learning?
• What leadership skills did we struggle with, utilize, and develop over the course of this project? What will we take with us into the next project?

After the presentation, which should last 10–15 minutes, you will be taking questions from a panel and the audience.

Exhibition presentations will be by block, in classrooms on the third floor, Wednesday, May 7th, at 6:30.

You will need to:

• Prepare a keynote that will guide your presentation and includes your video
• Plan your presentation:
  • Who will write each piece?
  • Who will present each piece?
• Rehearse your presentation

Time frame:

You have all of this week’s Project Studio time, some additional time next week, and the full day of Monday, May 5th.
